DEPUTY CLERK 
 
Kingsthorpe Parish Council seeks a Deputy Clerk to support the Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer in carrying out the day-to-day work of the 
Parish Council, including responsibility for Committee meetings and the Parish Community Plan 
 
Hours: 18.5 hours per week – Flexibility is essential. Working pattern to be agreed but must include a Monday and Wednesday. It will also include attending evening meetings and community events which may take place at a weekend 
 
Salary: NJC Scale LC1 SCP level of 5-15 (£21,575 - £25,878) (depending on experience and qualifications) pro rata, plus Pension Scheme 
 
Place of Work: Part home, part office. The post holder should be able to travel around for meetings as required
